You make us these pathetic criminals of small thought who cry for foreign countries of reasons that those suffering would laugh at. What, why did this happen? Why did you make us do this? Do you know that you're lying to us? That the world is ugly, and you're making it that way? You show us the slums, the maimed children, the women veiled until there is nothing left but a humanoid silhouette. But what is it? They. Are. People. They are persons. What are you making them but icons that we distance ourselves further and further from? Why are you feeding us this, when you know that when we are full, we will forget? Keep us hungry, keep us informed, give us the time to make an opinion. And don't lie. Please.
