(no subject)
1. on the bus today, it was so full that i had to stand up facing backwards, and i noticed something hilariously disturbing. i was very surprised to discover the amount of people that talk to themselves/mouthing words when they think no-one is looking....! and i'm not talking just about your everyday-smelly-crazies that catch the bus, but normal people! of all ages! i didn't know whether to laugh or not... :S
2. just had my lesson with graeme, and he has planted another seed of doubt/possibility in my head. i asked him if it was alright to put him down as a reference coz i'm looking at applying for some jobs for next year, and he was like:
G. "oh. so you're not doing honours?"
me. "er..well, i don't know. i don't think so..."
G. "because i think you should."
...this continued into a discussion of how he has seen eager young people such as myself go off, only to come back to complete it. and i mentioned that i looked at an exchanged to UCLA, and he laughed and said, well theres no way i could get into it WITHOUT doing honours.
and the last session i had with him, he recommended i do a film course seeing as i am greatly interested in filmaking....and would be better to do that, even for music, as you can make contacts through it.
GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
