(no subject)
we have a new computer.
its forcing me to use windows 7 because the xp wont boot but, ugh, at least i still have all my data. lost all my fucking bookmarks and (almost) everything has forgotten its settings. i hate windows 7 with a passion. i really do, but i guess i'll just get fucking used to it or something. ct is handling rebuilding everything because i'll just get bitchy at it.
we also have a new monitor with it, a flat screen that mae has already discovered she can't jump on top of. instead she's sleeping on the desk and covering up my clock, i'm pretry fucking sure this is revenge somehow, lol. its weird getting used to a bigger and wide-screen monitor, but its kinda nice to have one thats bigger. also so much fucking nicer to have one that doesn't die when the screen is too bright.
ct wanted to take apart the old one and look at it, but we seem to be missing screwdrivers that will fit into it, so that may not happen. no idea wtf to do with it, i think you can't just throw out these old things so...i dunno. maybe one day we'll smash it or something. that could be fun.
