So.
There may or may not have been a fire in the yard today.
We heard sirens, but we hear sirens go by at work a lot so I ignored them. Until we looked up and there were flashy lights in the window. I assumed they were across the street but, NOPE, was a firetruck (along with an ambulance, at least one cruiser and later on another firetruck) in my fucking parking lot stating they'd got a report of smoke.
please note there's normally smoke out there because there are burners who....burn things...i do not know but it involves welding torches and smoke and things getting cut up. it looked normal to me but i let them in anyway.
the office lady who was still there and the warehouse guys who were still there were also confused. the fire trucks went back and apparently talked to the torches or something and...i guess all was well. because they left without saying anything 30 minutes later.
it was very confusing and kinda amusing. :3
