When: Continued from " With Timid Step And Bloody Hand." Sherlock's somewhat sociopathic nature has bled into focus for John. Literally.
There's no mention of Scotland. It's been four days now and so far, neither of them has done much talking at all. Sherlock does not ask after John's arm and though they go to bed together, there's a lack of intimacy.
Sherlock does not want to touch John. It's not quite because he's afraid of temptation to hurt him again. It's not quite because the bruises visible on his skin are a reminder of his sickness. Sherlock is having a hard time pinning this one down. Never before has be needed his brother as much as he needs him now...
And Mycroft is gone. He talks to Gladstone instead while John is out. Gladstone is a good listener but gives crumby advice.
