Summary: A string of drabbles following the rules below.

2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering afterwards!

1. Time Heals Everything by Bernadette Peters- Sailor Pluto/Dr. River Song (Sailormoon/Dr. Who) 4:36:
It took her years to find it again. Years of hoping and trying, but at last she found it, the Center of Time. It sat unmarred and untouched. The Doctor had always waved off its existence, but being a Time Lord he thought he knew everything. He didn't, not about her, and not about Time. He had a better idea than most, but there was only one person who knew every inch of it, and River needed to see her again.
She stepped through the swirling space of the Center and stopped when she heard a voice behind her say, "I've been waiting for you, Dr. Song."
River turned around and smiled. "Hello, darling," she whispered. "It's been too long."
2. All I Wanna Do by Sheryl Crow- Balalaika/Asuka (Black Lagoon/Devil Lady) 4: 33:
There was a seedy bar in Japan that Balalaika had been to only once before. She decided to go back while she had the time, not so much for a distraction as to placate a feeling of nostalgia for he first time she had been in the city. She was still young then. Still a soldier. She had ordered a cheap beer to kill the sting that went with broken dreams.
She eyed the crowd and sat next to a woman in a red jacket. The woman eyed her for a moment and then said, "This doesn’t seem like your type of place."
"It isn't."
"Memory can be a killer," the woman said.
"Yes," Balalaika agreed. "But I don’t mind killers."
"Is that so?" She grinned and downed her beer. "I'm Asuka Lan. You seem to have something of the wolf in you."
"You've no idea."
3. Gloomy Sunday by Sarah McLachlan- Trowa/Hilde (Gundam Wing) 4:47:
He watched her from across the room as she danced with one of the other boys. There was a dream, a nightmare he had woken with that was still with him. He didn’t even want to be at the gathering, but she had dragged him out insisting that the party would cheer him up. It didn’t though. He felt worse, and more so as he watched her dancing and carefree.
Trowa leaned back in his chair then and stood up. A slow song was finally being played and he moved out to the dance floor to take her in his arms. She smiled at him, that pixie grin that had first captivated him.
"Feel any better," she asked.
"No." He replied honestly, "but I thought…maybe-"
"Well, maybe," she interjected. She let her head rest at his chest and shut her eyes. "You won't loose me."
"You don’t know that."
"But why wait for it happen. Enjoy right now. Make this moment last."
4. The Be-Littled Mermaid from Forbidden Broadway: Rude Awakening- Chikaru/Miyuki (Strawberry Panic) 2:43:
Chikaru was hand stitching some sequence onto a fish tail that she was making for Kagome's bear Percival when there was a knock at her door. She looked up and smiled as the Student Council President of Miator stepped into the room.
"Busy," Miyuki asked.
"Just making a Teddy bear into the Little Mermaid for the Broadway Club's review of bad shows."
"Bad shows?"
"Totally. Bad shows deserve attention too."
5. The Saddest Song I've Got by Annie Lennox- Iria/Sally Po (Gundam Wing) 4:08:
Sally winced as the last of the stitches she required were put in place. She took a breath and then let it out once she was sure the doctor attending her was finished.
"You need to watch those knives," the doctor said softly.
"I do," Sally replied.
"No," the doctor said softly. "You don’t understand, Five."
Sally shut her eyes and even managed to laugh. "So, Iria," she said softly. "I guess you've found me out."
"Looks like Cathy found you first."
"But I got away…sort of." She opened her eyes and looked the woman before her in the eyes. "Now what?"
"I make you an offer," Iria said. "And you don’t refuse it."
6. Jimmie by Diana Krall- Shizuru/Nao (Mai-HiME) 5:18:
"What was his name," Shizuru said as she sidled up to the younger girl from the shadows.
"I think it was Jimmy."
"Is he still alive?"
Nao nodded as she shoved the unconscious body at her feet with her foot. "I don’t need your help."
"I know. I'm not here for you."
"Lose your precious little doggy?" She grinned wickedly and added, "Maybe you should get her a leash."
"Perhaps," Shizuru replied softly. "Maybe you'd like to help me train her."
Nao huffed and shook her head. "You people kill me."
"Almost," Shizuru stated so that it nearly went unheard.
Nao narrowed her eyes and began to walk out of the alley. "I can’t share," she said.
"Neither can I, but maybe…" She shook her head and grinned at the thought. "Maybe I can let go."
Nao turned around and gritted her teeth.
7. Hole in My Soul by Aerosmith- Asuka/Jun (Devil Lady) 6:10:
Jun found she couldn't keep her eyes off of the shapely curve of Asuka's legs as the car rolled towards its destination. There would be more killing. She'd take another life, and though Asuka told her that she retained her soul, Jun didn't feel it. What she felt was empty, and incapable of taking anything she actually wanted for herself. She'd felt that way for such a long time, and she couldn’t shake it.
She shouldn’t have agreed to help Asuka. She should have stood up for herself…somehow. She didn’t know how to even talk to Asuka properly. The woman sucked all her reason from her, all her strength, which she never had much of to begin with. And she knew that she wanted Asuka. She knew that Asuka was probably attracted to her as well. It was something akin to beast instinct, or so she told herself.
Jun shifted her gaze up to look over at Asuka, only to be caught in those lovely, but sinister blue eyes. She swallowed hard and looked down at the floor.
"See something you like," Asuka asked. "If you asked, I wonder what the answer would be. But you won't ask, will you, Jun?" She chuckled and then looked out the window.
8. Destroy Everything You Touch by Ladytron- Nichol/Wufei 3:42:
They boxed, because Nichol found he couldn't actually talk to the young man without wanting to rip his head off. So they boxed and as they traded punches in the ring and danced around what it was they hated about each other Nichol found a few answers he wasn't sure how to deal with.
He never won. He always found himself on his back with the younger man standing over him with an expression of disappointment.
"You'll never win if you think you've already lost." Wufei said, scolding
"Maybe winning is for losers," Nichol retorted and then wondered what the hell he was talking about.
Wufei laughed, and distracted Nichol finally managed to get in one decent punch.
9. Through with Buzz by Steely Dan- Irina Woods/Yohko Helene 1:34:
Irina hit the robot she had just created and then grimaced when it didn't come to life. From the far end of the room Professor Yohko smiled at the attempt made by her best student.
"Maybe you should take a break," Yohko said softly.
Irina looked up from her failed experiment and sighed.
10. Another Shape of My Heart by Lisa Miskovsky- Kaname/Chikaru 3:28:
"What are you talking about," Chikaru asked and looked at the Spica student curiously. "I mean does this approach often work?"
Kaname frowned and then sneered.
"It doesn't, does it," Chikaru said and freed herself from the other girl's pressing advance. "You know what does work though?"
Kaname shook her head.
"Sincerity, and a little patience," Chikaru said as she walked away, stopping suddenly as she turned on her heels and added, "And paying attention to the obvious things."
