Hello everyone. I just woke up in a strange room--much like a lot of you, it seems. I'm only using text so that the others won't hear me. But I don't know any of these people, and I assume this is the Animus' doing. I guess they want us to go outside of our comfort zones. Needless to say, I'm not amused.

But now that you're awake, I suppose we ought to introduce ourselves.

[He grins.]

I've been here for a few weeks. Not too long.

It's good to meet you, Gong-gil. It seems that at least one of my roommates is someone I could get along with. Here's to hoping the others are kind as well.

I do not know. Many people are kind here, but there are some who are less than.

That's very true. Believe me. I've noticed.

[He flicks a hand through his hair.]

Regardless, though. We're all in this together, ultimately. And I like meeting new people--just not when I'm forced to.

Ah! I used to play a little violin--but tell me--how do you perform on a rope?

[He cocks his head.]

I.. do not know what a violin is. -=he's from Korea, 1504=-

It is set up high. -=motions with his hand=- And I perform acrobatics on it.

Oh. I see. That sounds dangerous.

[He pauses to think.]

A violin is a musical instrument with strings that make different sounds.

I have been walking the rope since I was a boy.

Oh. -=maybe he has an idea of a violin? He's thinking of a sohaegeum=-

I see. I guess if you have lots of practice like that, it makes something dangerous seem like nothing at all.

I do have to admit, if one is foolish about things, they can be seriously injured. That's why many days of practice and learning how to fall properly is just as important as learning the trick without mistake.

That makes sense, then. Practice makes perfect.

[He laughs softly.]

I'm not really very talented in anything, unfortunately--I'm a horrible violinist, but I am a priest, of sorts. It doesn't pay--but I used to feel like I helped people.
