Character's Name: Shindou Shuichi
Series: Gravitation [Manga]
Timeline: Post-canon
Canon Resource Link: Wikipedia, Another Wiki
Personality: Shuichi, to put it simply, has a very shaky grip on reality. Once he gets something in his head, he can't give it up, and no outside influence will change that unless it directly affects whatever he was fixating on before. He's very exuberant and his actions are hardly ever realistic, but this reminds everyone around him to stay grounded to keep him out of trouble.

There are two things in Shuichi's life that he states are the most important things to him; his music and a man named Yuki Eiri. When Shuichi first met Yuki, he was a mysterious critic, but despite his harsh words, or perhaps because of them, Shuichi became obsessed with him. Though he had always been straight, Shuichi quickly decided that he was in love with Yuki. This is one of the greatest examples of Shuichi's lack of rational thought, but he was bold and believed in himself so much that it was eventually true and Yuki even returned the feeling.
What your character can offer: Shuichi can offer the gift of his musical talents to the people of Discedo.
What items will they be bringing with them? Shuichi will have with him a backpack with a songwriting book, a few extra pens and a sailor fuku.

Third-Person Sample:

Some mornings, he woke up and Yuki wasn't there. Most of the time they rose together after being woken up but K-san or the alarm clock but on the days when neither of them had to get up, more often than not Shuichi woke up alone.

It wasn't a horrible thing. It meant he could stretch out without limits. His arms could reach from one side of the bed to the other, he could wrap himself in the sheets, and he could take all the pillows to himself. It was comfortable, but at some point his body realized the irregularity and woke him up to let him know something was wrong. And there was something wrong. Whenever Yuki wasn't in the immediate area, something just wasn't right.

So he woke up, letting out a soft "Yuki?" before pushing himself up and out of bed. He mumbled to himself about the discarded clothes on the floor as he searched for his shirt.

"Waah, he always puts it in the weirdest place," Shuichi said to himself, crouching down and finally finding his shirt under the bed. He picked it up, shook out the dust, pulled it over his head and walked out of the bedroom in search of his soul mate.

He didn't have to look too far. Yuki was sitting on the couch, thoughtfully smoking a cigarette. He looked so peaceful, and Shuichi knew his boyfriend was enjoying the quiet. It must have been a nice change to the norm now that Shuichi lived there. But the musician himself saw no problem with the noise. He was just expressing his love.

Shuichi watched Yuki bring the cigarette to his lips, take a long drag and then release the smoke slowly. The movements were so quiet, so cool and collected, so Yuki, and something bubbled in Shuichi's chest, bubbled right up and out through his mouth in a high-pitched, loud "YUUUUUKIIIIII~" as he ran and leapt onto the couch.

Yuki pulled a face, called him an idiot, and brought the cigarette back to his lips, looking a little more disgruntled in his movements this time.

All was right with the world.
