RIP
For years I've been a huge fan of a California band, Odd Project. For years I prayed they'd make it big and come on tour to Florida because I had a ridiculous admiration of their emo-hair and whiney girl lyrics. Fortunately for me, my wish DID come true, in a pseudo sort of way (their tour was awful, but at least I saw them!). Now, each original member has left, and although they will not be playing any music from Lovers Fighters Sinners Saints, they'll be carrying on with the name of a band which I held in such high esteem. Thats not to say this neo-OP won't be great, but I know without a doubt that they can't even shadow the greatness of the original members in my eyes.
Now it will almost feel wrong to wear my 2 OP shirts, which happen to be my 2 favorite and most often worn band t-shirts.
