Romantic indeed!

I have not come across this 'twelve days of Christmas' thing referring to the days before Christmas - how maddening! I agree, it starts once we've had Christmas. Although I am never sure whether it begins on Christmas Day or Boxing Day - it's one of those things that just keeps falling out of my head!

I first noticed it a few years ago, in our local rag in Cambs. And just found it again, by googling, in the Nottingham Post.

I could equally have gone for Christmas Eve as day 1, so glad to have it nailed as 25th.

Awww, young love - bless their hearts.

I so agree the twelve days of Christmas ought to left in their rightful place. I can't say as I've noticed them being used as a run up to Christmas, but that's probably due to the bucket I keep my head in these days. I dare say it's going on all around me *g*

Good luck to son 1! Hope it goes brilliantly (and I bet it does, too).

Oh, that's so - classic, somehow, meeting up at the station where they both change trains! It should all be shot in black and white, with train whistles, and steam *g* All the very best to them both for their interviews - I hope they did well.

This twelve days of Christmas thing is doing my head in, honestly. I have unsubscribed from three retail outlets which normally interest me because it is wrong, just plain wrong, I tell you!
