I have not come across this 'twelve days of Christmas' thing referring to the days before Christmas - how maddening! I agree, it starts once we've had Christmas. Although I am never sure whether it begins on Christmas Day or Boxing Day - it's one of those things that just keeps falling out of my head!

I so agree the twelve days of Christmas ought to left in their rightful place. I can't say as I've noticed them being used as a run up to Christmas, but that's probably due to the bucket I keep my head in these days. I dare say it's going on all around me *g*

This twelve days of Christmas thing is doing my head in, honestly. I have unsubscribed from three retail outlets which normally interest me because it is wrong, just plain wrong, I tell you!
