Weatherin' the Storms!
As most of you know, Dad and Pa have been in CRISIS! (eek!!) It has been very scary here, for several weeks!!
I have been doin' GREAT, though!!!!
One of thier friends brought a GIANT 50-lb bag of food to me, cause They didn't have money for my silly expensive foods... and then I started eating dirt again, cause they weren't giving me my "Preference" add-in from Honest Kitchen? But GUESS WHAT???
Dad thought- so many people are helping us... I wonder if "The Honest Kitchen" might be willing to help ME... After all, Dad reviews thier product ALL OVER THE PLACE, because It is SO GREAT!! (No, really, REALLY great!)
See, I got a problem with Eating DIRT... and Grody Decaying Grass... and Roots... so Dad and Pa tried Eeeeeeverything! Toni at Happy Tails Rescue said maybe I needed to be eating veggies like Big Bertha did... but no, I was NOT EATING VEGGIES! I resented Veggies. I took them out of my bowl, and threw them away. (I was a very silly puppy... I am learning now that veggies might not be evil after all...) and Toni said 'try alfalfa grass'... and Dad went, HMMmmm.
When he was shopping for the best way to add some alfalfa to my diet, he found a box of stuff from "The Honest Kitchen" (http://www.thehonestkitchen.com/) and one of the main ingrediants was Alfalfa... and Dehydrated Veggies in tiny little flakes and bits... HMMMmmm, he thought- this might WORK!
He brought home a box of the "Preference" one day- (http://www.thehonestkitchen.com/products/preference/) it is a complete diet if you add ground beef, chicken, or fish- and Pa and Dad started to add a big scoop to all my kibble-meals...
Within a few weeks, I stopped eating tons of GRODY stuff!! I stopped barfing the grody stuff back up too, cause by the way, I did that a LOT... Grody stuff is yummy to eat, but your tummy objects. Who Knew?
So when Dad and Pa couldn't afford it, and I started doing this again, the Vet said "Well put her back on it!" ...and Dad was all 'I have NO IDEA how to afford this...' ...But THEN he had an IDEA.
He said 'What if I contact The Honest Kitchen and I ask them if they can help?'
That seemed a silly idea, but look how much HELP he was getting with the Crisis-stuff, he thought, hey, why not?
He told them about me, and why I use thier product, AND why Dad pimps them out all the time- because they ARE the best stuff, and they DO work for this!! He told them we can't afford it right now, could they send just one box, or even some coupons?
And do you know what they did?
Do you?
They put a CASE of them in the mail!!!
JUST FOR MEEEEE!!!
Dad is happydancing, and Pa is Yay'ing, and I am DROOLING... My Prefernce!!! YUM!!!
So see, all the help from ALL OVER is coming!!

A friend (who does not have LJ) sent me a HUGE BONE.
OMG HUGE.
It is a COW //FEMUR//!!!
Dad promises when the sun comes out again (isn't it summer yet?) He will get a picture of me outside with my COW FEMUR!!! OMG HUGE!!

As if this was not EEEEENOUGH for OMG Cora...
I got the WORLDS BIGGEST DRINKING BOWL!!
Okay, Pa says "No, it is a swimming pool- get in it!"
I dunno, it's not hot enough yet, I think it is for drinking from. YUM!!
All for me!
Again, when the sun comes out (daaaaaaaaad... it's too cold for this 'swimming' thing) Dad will get a picture of me with my Giant Drinking Bowl... swimming pool. whatever.
It was only 10 bucks, and a friend we were with went to buy it for me, and the gal said "oh, those are two for one today" (Probably because IT IS TOO COLD TO SWIM, DAD...) and so they got TWO.
Pa is promising to go to the dirt store and buy me some dog-safe dirt or something, so I can have my own special dirt pit.... I dunno what that would be like, but it would definately be better than 'Cora, get outta my planter!!' ...Pa does not understand how LUCIOUS it is to lay on the freshly turned earth where they are planting. hrmf. Especially the baby plants, what feel so GOOD to lay on.... or sometimes eat...
It would be like a big dirt bed!
Untill it rains too much. :/
I am sure Dad and Pa have a PLAN (tm) for that, tho ...but I will be content for now, because I am ALL SET... and I am just getting better and better, and picking up more and more tasks... and life is CORA-licious!!
