Cora is a clever dog. Let no one ever say otherwise. Her newest antic?
"Cora, you cannot chew the nasty freezy bone on the bed."
"No? Why not?"
"Because I said so."
After about 5 minutes of being refused access to the bed while she held the bone in her mouth, she threw the bone down on the floor next to the bed, and proceeded to chew on the bone. While she laid on the bed.

And for those of you unused to that scale...the bed is 6 inches high (we sleep on a pallet because one of us *cough* falls out of bed with startling regularity). That is a cow's acetabular process aka 'the knob on the femur'. It's huge, about 8 inches long and 5 inches across.
