Hahahaha, but seriously, wow. HOW TO NAVIGATE THE TWISTS AND TURNS. Well, speaking in ultra-recent turns: Chizuru is actually really, really, really relieved (though she probably won't admit it) to have gotten the "I'M AFRAID YOU'RE JUST EXPERIMENTING" thing off her chest. She so rarely talks about those kinds of worries, and it just totally lifted a lot off her shoulders to actually do it for once. XD
Ironically, the whole "whoa Near too" revelation, while upsetting at the very first, is probably going to shake out as something she sees in a mostly positive light, just because of that conversation--not just because of what she got to say, but also because Chisame didn't do the whole "OH YOU SHOULD DUMP ME WOE WOE WOE" thing and quite firmly rejected the whole idea of it. It's something Chizuru was thrilled to hear (if that's the right word). Also, hearing Chisame tell her straight out that, look, I'm with you, you big idiot was reassuring for her. So it seems it's true that arguing is good for a relationship. 8D
She still feels vaguely an ass for trying to blow off Chisame's apology at first, but that'll fade pretty quickly.
|D Chisame was glad to have the conversation too. As she grows in confidence she sees herself and Chizuru much more as equals in the relationship, as compared to before, which is why she's not doing the whole "DUMP MEEEEEEEE" thing--if Chizuru had dumped her over it she would've actually been rather pissed as opposed to incredibly depressed (/relieved what) as she would have been with the Rey thing, heh. |D
