Well, you see, class was canceled this morning to discuss budget problems at UNLV. They have to cut costs by 14% At first, they ignored the governor, which is how I got my job, but now they can't ignore him anymore. So I'm going to the meeting in an hour if I can justify the gas usage. I'm trying to justify it but I'm loathe to drive all the way out there for a half hour meeting whose minutes will be posted somewhere, I'm sure.
Homework at home and a short trip to the nearby store is a better use of my time.
But in the meantime I was reading The Nation and found a link that I thought my Democrat friends would enjoy:
