Given that, if you drop a piece of buttered or jammed toast it will always land face down, and given that if you drop a cat it always lands on its feet, we can conclude that if you strap a piece of toast to a cat's back and drop it, it will fall but right before it hits the ground, begin to hover. It defies the laws of physics and friction. Therefore we can build monorails that hover above the rails using cats and toast!
