Cho Seung-Hui ( Google it ) does not fit a specific profile for being a serial killer. He was a South Korean with a Visa to go to school in the US.
He doesn't fit the profile shown with the Columbine Shooting, or the shooting in Montreal Quebec (Canada). He isn't or wasn't a Goth, could have been on Medication for Depression, but there have been no explainations to say that.
Conspiracy Theorists will now come up with the notion he was brain-washed or programmed to execute this carnage.
The stories will float and possible reasons will jump back on forth, but imagine the psy-ops angle of this; used to explain the John Lennon shooting what if Cho Seung Hui was programmed and against his will once he heard the "trigger" it set him off. Similar to the manchurian candidate could it be possible he was not under his own will or control? His words were You made me do this.
Who was he talking about?
Was he referring to his ex girlfriend who dumped him.
Was he referring to the doctor who gave him the pills for his depression?
Or was he referring to the Elite Possible Illuminati members who forced him to commit this crime that will be marked in American History...who knows?
