prepare to listen to me droning about my oh-so-exciting life! :DD
this morning around 10:30 i set out to buy peanut butter, since we'd used it all up again.
i wore my big boots. there was a man with an awesome yellow motorcycle at the main intersection.
being me, i got sidetracked several times and ended up going to other stores and buying other things. . .and witnessing the remains of a house fire.
these aren't the best pictures of it, but the firefighters were still there along with some other emergency types and i thought it would be really rude to interfere.

i ended up taking this one through a fence while walking away, hence the blurriness.

there was some real actual 'police line do not cross' tape, but i couldn't catch that either. *sigh*
and it was so cool, too.
perhaps when it's abandoned later this week i can go back and get some proper pictures of the charcoal and smashed walls and things.
after that i went to the 5 and 10 and got a new notebook because I FILLED UP MY 365 PROMPT BOOK.
and it only took me 5 months instead of 12. i feel so skilled XD
i read through it to see if i've gotten any better, and i think i have improved a little. that practice thing, it works.
i had planned to buy some hair elastics too, but they didn't have any. damn
then i got some peanut butter plus some almond butter at Trader Joe's, stopped at Walgreen's to get more of that addicting drink mix stuff, and then went home. it got pretty warm out towards the end; i think spring might finally be here. or at least it's coming soon.
hopefully the nice weather will hold for today and tomorrow, since my troop's big girl scout yard sale is happening and we need to carry all the stuff out of my attic today.
one of the girls is coming over early so i can dye her hair (blue, i think). that should be fun, and will bring the total of strange-haired girls in the troop to three--one with a red tuft, one with red streaks, and one with blue somewhere. we are, shall i say, not your typical girl scout troop.
i get the feeling i'm a bad influence on them, though maybe that's just because i'm one of the oldest people in it now. hmm.
to summarize:
got up an hour earlier than usual for no explicable reason.
bought peanut butter and a notebook and some other crap.
saw the remains of a fire! they were shocking.
drank fake-tasting lemonade.
got some ideas. thought.
i am going to go eat my lunch now. have a great day, everyone!
