Comrade, I'm not sure what you mean by "encourage," and, frankly, I think we have far too much "encouragement" of passionate desire already. But here's a proposal for you--one far too radical, I guess, for either my co-religionists or this debauched but nevertheless puritanical society: Because on the one hand, life IS indeed sacred, and on the other, we DO indeed, just as you say, have a population explosion and not nearly enough thoughtful, self-sacrificing parents, why don't we try to promote an "orientation," inculcated through family relationships, through which the highest physical expression of love is ANYTHING BUT genital contact--or, more precisely, the exhange of fluids? Doesn't matter what sex, what age--any touching is permitted that is not invasive. And invasive should be considered, unless for procreative purposes, a callous, unloving act. I DO indeed mean that all genital contact outside of marriage should be considered something akin to rape.Such a cultural shift would promote BISEXUALITY--not exclusive homosexuality,
