This is still so damn new for both of us and it's easy to see that we're both holding back. I can feel the clear strength in her body, masked by an innocent unconscious kind of beauty, but still she lets me hold her like I'm in control of this. Is that for my sake or hers? Was this what he liked, the nameless guy that I fully intend to track down and kill painfully some day soon? God, I hope not.

His kiss silences my words. I'm scared of me... I moan softly against his lips and tentatively kiss him back, taking care not to hurt him in any way. For both of our sakes; I don't know what another taste of his blood would do to me right now.

She rocks up into me with almost primal need and this is so much more intense than anything we could have done last night. She's letting me see more of herself now, no longer hiding behind a mask of the girl that she thought I wanted her to be. She doesn't have to feel the guilt of what she's going to do... what she thinks that she has to do... and me, well, I'm always happier when my evening doesn't end up with me as somebody's late night snack.

I bite back a groan at the tight heat of her, sinking deeply into her as she moves under me, and I've got my fingers tangled so carefully in her hair, like I could actually hurt her if I moved too fast, pressed too hard. She's got me pinned to the bed, ready to worship her whole-heartedly if she told me to, and I make her weak? My god, what a pair we make. Her fangs tease over my skin, making me groan through clenched teeth, and when my chest moves I can feel the sting of her teeth just barely scoring the surface of my skin.

"Be mine," she whispers, the same request as last night. As if I've really got a choice. As if I'd ever say no.

"Already," I gasp, rocking up against her, " I already am." I thought she would've known that, but I don't mind reminding her. Her teeth close lightly around my lower lip and I tangle my fingers in her long hair, keeping her close to me as we move together, everything getting a little hot and passionate. I close my eyes as the needle-sharpness of her fangs raise goosebumps on my skin, tilting my head to give her access and utterly losing myself to that delirium. She could leave me in limbo between pleasure and pain the way that Darla used to, tease me to the point of insanity so damn easy, but she doesn'tI can feel her change back and I dazedly lift my hand to stroke her now-smooth cheek, looking into a perfectly human, perfectly beautiful face when I open my eyes.
