What the hell do you say to your mom when she won't let you get a perfectly normal haircut?

(I am not even asking to dye it.)

Aww, I think that's a cute cut! I hate when parents are 'tards like that DX

;_; what should I say to her, Dee? reasoning? or go behind her back and try my best to get it cut anyways? kljdlkfdf this is the base hair I've been using for my Lulu cosplay this entire year.

and now that time is nearing convention she's suddenly pmsing or something and refusing to let me get that cut, claiming the bangs damage my eyes. T_T;

No, no going behind the back. That works with some things, but not appearances. I thought of that with my hair, but I knew my 'rents would flip. Sometimes the guilt trip works (that's worked for me a couple times) but if that doesn't, I'd say reason as best you can. Tell her how much it means to you. I mean, it's only hair; it'll grow back.

What con? I thought you already went to one this year?

I'm wondering how to phrase my argument exactly, I think she might be starting to hate my passion for cosplaying and conventions. >_o Do you have any compelling points?

Ah yes, where I live I go to two cons a year, one in spring and one in the early fall. ;3

Well, aside from the guilt trip (one two occassions when I've wanted action figures that were really exspensive, I just said, "Oh, okay..." all sad like and my dad caved. And yesterday when I was scared about getting in trouble, I cutilly tried to explain, and he was just like, "Oh, no, no. You've been doing good.") I usually just state my case, throw in a "I could do this instead..." but my parents are pretty ruthless. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. If your mom has been for cosplay, she sounds a little reasonable.

Thanks for the advice. XD I didn't know that way was called guilt-tripping, ahaha! I've used that way as my last resort because my mom can be pretty bitchy when she feels like it.

this is random but do you have any more Three Days Grace songs? ;3 I have a few all from you and I've been listening to them a lot more lately.
