Ah well, to tell you the truth I understand why you're parents yelled at you. Drawing animanga style is not something you do in art lessons which are not very cheap. I also understand how you feel in wanting to draw animanga, but that's only because you're surrounded by artists :O Plus, I cannot draw animanga [or atleast original]. I think you should work on realism in art lessons and work on animanga in you're free time. Nobody learned to draw animanga in art lessons [or atleast i don think so >~>], but rather from looking at animanga or other people's work and drawing a lot from there :] Just practice ;] If you want giudance ask Crystal or somebody else, it's not like theyll bash you for being a beginner :O Nobody's born with amajing art skills, they PRACTICE. And a lot of them do it on their own too, so you can too [that sounds cheesy

Ah, I see. You hate realism :] But that's also a problem. Realism is a pretty much basic for everything, or atleast sketching is. You have to get it down to paint or draw other things. It's a basis in almost all art :O Even though realism is different from animanga I always thought it would be easier to get that style down when you get realism down :]

And I know what you mean, you want to have fun during art, but don't be so negative towards realism ;] It'll help ya. If you think its going to be boring then its goign to be boring

I think I do have the basis for sketching. Maybe I'm being arrogant here. (but animanga is so unrealistic, how does it help? XD) Idk.

I think both would be fun! :DDD I think its awesome to be able to take things, even soemthing that simple, and be able to move it on paper with a collection of something more sompler like lines [or w/e ur style is] and make it even more beautiful ;]
