As you know, I just graduated from College where I did a video installation and a short writing piece that met at the intersections of personal narrative and theory. It discussed issues of identity, specifically constructing non conforming (trans)genders in a social as well as medical context (and the ways in which they influence each other) - It spoke about the many different levels of perception and projection (ie - me understanding myself, you trying to understand me and the ways in which you trying to understand me influences how i understand myself) the gallery was called TRANSformations - still super stoked about that name lol
