Its too bad I've got an hour and a half attention span.

Thoughts:

I like that I cut a boy’s hair more often than I smoke a cigarette.

Unfortunately he likes comedies and doesn’t like roe.

I want a man who can dance.

oh... he's not my boy. He lives in Nome, which is too far for a relationship with me. You didn't meet Matt, although he was... well... he was a jock. Hockey and football. Now he works construction, and is no longer dating me. He was also emotionally unstable and manipulative because of a low self esteem, which you wouldn't guess at when you first meet him. And something shady happened between him and an old friend in Hawaii, he told me about. So... in the beginning I decided to get to know Matt in a distance relationship, opening up tons of opportunity for manipulation. I broke up with him on July 21.

Anyway.

This new guy from Nome with whom I have discouraged any sort of relationship with by saying, yes, it is a bad idea to say that you miss me, and that you'd like to go to the cabin with me and you want to come and visit. Because I can't handle another distance relationship, especially after this year long unhealthy distance relationship I just got out of. I wanted to get to know him in person rather than feel forced to be liking someone, which is what it was like with Matt.

Let me tell you about him now. He's a fly-fisherman, who even owns his own private company. People come from all over the world to go fly fishing with this guy. And he's a pilot. His dad owns a local airlines in Nome, Bering Air, and this guy is the head pilot. He's 30 and a pretty attractive guy. He seems emotionally stable, even for being engaged before.

The more I think about him, the more I think I'm crazy for not entering a distance relationship with him. I'll see him next summer, and probably after that, given that neither he or I have started a committed relationship before then.

So... I'm hanging out with friends in Juneau. There are a couple boys I think are smart and cute and athletic, but there's no pressure, no complicated relationships.
