Can it be April aready?
Excited for 5 straight days of doubles, homestead credit return, overtime, the MMI, & San Francisco.
I have curbed my spending dramtically. Tomorrow's payday & I have $200 left from last payday. Even with an emergency trip to the dentist. (tuesday morning, a filling from a molar came out while flossing. Much nicer to find it was only an old filling and not a cracked tooth, phew.)
I've been battling a cold all week, not to mention the urge to call in sick this week. I always feel so guilty calling in eventhough I feel like crap and going to work means I will be an unproductive blob staring at my computer screen all day.
This past weekend was the annual Craft Night retreat in Door County. One of the women who came went psychotic drunk on the second night. Way past the emotional 'I love you man' drunk & straight to the 'I fucking hate you' can't stand up, death threat, won't lie down & sleep it off drunk. We locked ourselves in our room after all attempts to deal with her failed. She still stuck around for an uncomfortable amount of time the next morning. Regardless of the shenanigans, we still managed to get some good walks, talks, & crafting in.
I'm hungry.
