conradcentric contest & challenge announcments
Hi, everyone! Two fun announcements today:
First, a reminder that you still have a few days to get in your entries for the first Conradcentric Default Icon Contest. The deadline is Wednesday, October 4th at midnight PT (time zone converter). Details and full rules are in this post. We've received a number of wonderful entries - thank you to those of you who have submitted! - and are looking forward to more. Please send your entries by email (link or attachment) to thejennabides[at]livejournal and/or tsukizu[at]livejournal.
And we're also happy to announce the Fic & Art Challenge for October! As voted by members of the comm, we're going to offer a prompt every month in the hopes of inspiring fanfic and fanart. The prompt for this month's challenge is, appropriately enough, first. First love, first battle, first snowfall of the season, first in a race - whatever "first" inspires you to, as a word or a concept, we'd love to see your fic and art. The only real rule is that Conrad should feature prominently in the piece (but note that he does not have to be part of the pairing: if you wanted to write Adalbert/Julia from Conrad's pov, for example, that would be more than acceptable). ETA: Feel free to post response fics and art directly to the comm. And if you would include something like "October Challenge" in the subject line, that would be great.
