Generosity In Their Blood
I'm not sure if I have shared this story, but I will share this nonetheless.
It was Christmas season, probably last year or two years ago. Two of my bosses greeted each other a Merry Christmas. I think they did not understand each other as to how they would do it - one of them attempted a cheek-to-cheek greeting ("beso"), the other one I guess didn't realize this. So the other one spilled her coffee on the floor.
A janitor attended to this mess.
After the janitor cleaned the floor, another boss - a Construction Manager - handed out a Php500 peso bill to the janitor, then either said "Thank you" or "Merry Christmas."
Sometimes I am surprised that people would just... give without even thinking. They could have used that money for themselves, but no - they just... give it like that.
