Beyond Pizza
On February 5, 2016, I received a "Passion" award, which recognizes me in my work.
Below is an email I sent to my immediate colleages - a teammate and my immediate boss.
The email below is translated, and as usual, names have been changed.

This is not a "thank you" speech!
I feel like I don't need to explain anything, but I feel like I need to say this to you. Because I won't be treating you guys for lunch "just because" of my award. There is a deeper reason behind this lunch out. And I feel like I need to email this instead of say this to you verbally because I might not be able to explain this to you in person hahahaha
There were a lot of things that happened in the latter part of 2015. I won't elaborate (for now?), but for some of them, more or less you know already - when Farrago and I broke up, when I started to like a person from our neighboring Department but she ended up being in a relationship between a guy in the neighboring Group. Hahahaha on most parts, I was the one at fault (e.g. I was the one who broke up with Farrago, not the other way around) so I'm not blaming anyone else, but it's more of... my powers were unable to bear the consequences of what I did.
Day 1 of the start of the many things that happened was on... October 1, 2016. The first day of the 4th quarter.
And my award was for... the 4th quarter.
So when I received the award - and I wasn't expecting anything - I told myself... "Apparently something good came out of the 4th quarter." I seriously thought that. Well, actually, there are a lot of good things that happened to me on the 4th quarter, and I have a lot of people to thank for because they helped me. But for now... it will be just the three of us, because it will be just the three of us who would help each other. And because Sir Lance was the one who nominated me hehe.
I know that my problem is so high school, and I have more important and critical matters to encounter in the future. But, well... those are my challenges recently.
So there. Let's eat a lot later.
