Minor - I took a gamble in a racing board game named
Formula D.
Brian brought another set of tabletop games in the office, and got new people involved. I was in the lead, but since someone else was catching up, I tried to speed up despite risks of further damaging my vehicle to the point of no return. The risk ended up materializing, and so my racecar ended up as a fireball. I was the only person who did not even finish the game, but I had a lot of fun playing it.
Median - I surfed!
I joined my not-exactly-teammates to Baler - it's a municipality somewhere in the north-east side of the Philippines, and is famous as a surfing place. I surfed for an hour with an instructor.
I think in about 10-15 waves, I successfully rode on about... 4 waves only? For me the hard part about surfing is that there is a certain timing involved between the wave hitting you and you standing up on the board. Moreover, once you stand up, your feet are supposed to be in a position that allows you to balance yourself in the board.
Major - I went out with a "new friend" for dinner.
Recall that
I often chatted with a person. Let one of these people's names be Marjorie.
I was amused at the fact that we have been chatting so often for the past month, and I told myself (and herself) that I wanted to "level up" our relationship (using the term "relationship" in its most general term.), so... I invited her for dinner.
We ended up in a cafe and just pretty much talked about games until 0100H. She is a gamer, and is a fan of Mass Effect just like me. In any case, I enjoyed our dinner.
