Everytime I have to drive to a place where I'm not familiar, I Googlemap the place and create an sketch of how to go there. My objective is to visualise my journey and to see if there are landmarks which I can use for reference.
Last Friday, I and my teammates went to the wake of Leah's Dad (more on that later.) Her sister gave instructions via Leah's Facebook wall. So I opened Googlemaps, and read and followed the instructions. I drew a sketch and copied the instructions beside the wall.
At 2130H, I went ahead with Chelseah, Vicencia and a teammate went to the wake. I stopped once to verify if we were on the right track. (We were.) We arrived at 2230H with the help of Chelseah as my lovely navigator (or... "With the help of my lovely Chelseah as navigator").
At around 2330H, my teammates were calling up Leah and my handsome alter-ego to ask for assistance in navigation. From what Chelseah gathered, our other teammates were lost. They were also in a convoy but some of them detached themselves from the convoy.
This is an exaggeration, but I am so ashamed of the teammates who got lost.
I think they relied purely on the instructions and did not exhaust all possible means of not getting lost. Moreover, I think that some of them decided not to think about how to go there because, hey, they're in a convoy.
As mentioned above, Leah's father passed away. He had a heart attack due to a clogged blood vessel, and doctors performed
Angioplasty. To my knowledge, the father passed away during the procedure.
Our former boss told me that when he called Leah on Wednesday to verify her Dad's condition, she was heavily sobbing. When we went to the wake on Friday, her voice was very hoarse.
Leah said that once of the nice things about her Dad's death was that she found out that they were loved by so many people. She tells us that the wake was filled with so many people during daytime.

The father was admitted to the hospital last Tuesday.
On that same Tuesday, I was on that same hospital because of Migs' Dad.
Migs' Dad was shot on the chest during daytime while the Dad was walking back home. Based from Migs' story, the gunman knew his Dad, and that the gunman's intent was to inflict harm.
Migs' last update was that his Dad had no more operations and complications (he had a fever the other day.)

Well... those are my updates.
