Who knew that I would eat my words.

It's so difficult. Well, actually, it's the opposite.

Whenever I go out (to watch a movie, to play, to go to a mall, whatever), Nny always offers to shell out money for me. Frequently I refuse her generous offer; at times, I am tempted to accept it.

I have at least two invitations, one being tomorrow (why do they keep inviting me too short a notice?), both I can easily decline because my resources are low + the fact that I feel uneasy on the idea of getting that shed of money that Nny hands me out.

a_tannenbaum's words:

Haven't we, too, wasted much of our lives worshipping certain persons of the opposite sex, hanging around like puppy dogs in hopes they'll finally see how devoted we are ? Haven't we told ourselves that the little crumbs of regard they toss us now and then are really the beginnings of the big L ?
Alas, they never are.

All these, and more, found on rad_star_otaku's entry on readordie.

...Those were the times.
