#05. PARENTS EVENING.

Nov 30, 2009 19:09

Ohh, parents evening. The dreaded night of the year for any students.

German - both said the same thing. I kept zoning out cause I hate them so much and they ramble but whatever, I got the gist. I need to believe in myself. blahblah. I'm good but I could be better. I'm disruptive sometimes and need to calm down and concentrate.

Religion - My best appointment of the night. NOT EVEN KIDDING. It's such a doss but the teachers were like 'You really know how to get involved and state your opinion, and justify your argument against others' They went on for ages about how amazing I am. It was brilliant. YES FOR BEING OPINIONATED AND MOUTHY. My mom was happy here.

English Lit - Only saw one teacher here cause the other one HATES ME. Not kidding. She's always like 'CONOR, YOU'RE ESSAYS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH' die bitch. So this nicer teacher was again like 'Have more confidence, you need to participate more so that your written work improves. But what I love about you, Conor, is your enthusiasm.' NICE. I'M IN. This was fairly good to be honest.

French - A mixed bag. Mostly positive. Just advice really on how I can improve my written work. They think I can get a B overall at the end of A Levels, which apparently is very good for a language. Bravo.

Overall, need more confidence in my ability and more detail in my written work. NOT BAD.
