As I was taking a break from Slater, I checked e-mail. Master Jansen sent me a story he had found, probably knowing how I'd view it.

"The Sheriff of Nottingham captured Little John and Robin Hood and imprisoned them in his maximum-security dungeon. Maid Marion begged the Sheriff for their release, pleading her love for Robin. The Sheriff agreed to ( Read more... )

Okay so...who's right and who's wrong.

Sheriff is a evil bastard that set all this up. Villains like Slade and the Sheriff are still bastards at the end of the day, honor or not.

Robin is a total ass for not breaking out himself and for not expecting Marion to help him anyway she could. Yes, he's allowed to be upset. Name calling and storming off is jackass behavior.

Little John should not be kicking his best friend while he's down, no matter how big of jerk he is. Granted, if it's really over and not just a hissy fit, by all means admit what you are feeling and see what can be worked out.

Marion ::sigh:: Those in glass houses, as they say. I plead the fifth on supporting or condoning her way of thinking.

Before I go on, let me say this:

IXNAY ON THE OMPARISONSCAY! Dinah and I are friends, we're good with it, and NOBODY is going to open this can of worms again unless they want it force-fed to them.

Now:

-Sheriff: Complete and utter scumbag.
- Robin: Stupid sexist idiot. Being upset that she went that far for his raggedy green butt, I can see. The word 'slut' has no place in this.
- Little John: Doing right by Marion, but wrong by his best friend. You don't dump a guy just because he pulls one bonehead move.
- Marion: I feel bad for her. She doesn't deserve to end up in the middle of ANY of this, unless Robin and John got caught doing something they asked her to. Though I gotta say, I lose respect for Marion for her solution to the problem. I mean, Robin's lady has GOT to be able to tie up Sheriff Jackass, hold him for ransom, and leap out a window before the guards can get her.

Oddly enough, I have to agree with Ollie here about Marion. There's no shame in the solution I don't think, but I would have at least tried a few other methods first. I mean, where are the Merry Men in this and why isn't she going to them first? Also why is she going off with Little John in the heat of the moment? I'm not sure that's good for anyone ( ... )

You have 'green' in your codename and you carry a bow. Since when are you allowed to worry about comments getting you in trouble?

Um, ever seen the movie "Wargames?" The only way to win a game like this is not to play. Unless of course what I say here won't be taken as a crack about your sex life or lack there of.

And, people, he has been good about things so while I hear the stories about "them sex crazy Arrows," I have yet to see the crazy.

I'm going to have to come in leaning heavily on Maid Marion's side. Sometimes it seems like there aren't any other choices, like beating up on the Sheriff and Merry Men don't seem to be anywhere to be found. In that case you do what you can. If only because the other choice was to let Robin rot in jail.

As for the rest. Robin was being an ass as was his best friend Little John and the Sheriff was a bastard that probably enjoy the entire situation way too much.
