Though I don't feel that I owe an apology to anyone, my long absence was due to my current project. Quite a novel little device, if I do say so myself. It feels wonderful to have something that can occupy my time again like this. Spending nights on end taking notes and measurements is very theraputic.
I received quite an interesting assortment of mail today, none of which was addressed to me. Apparently, some residents of this neighborhood have exceedingly questionable taste in reading material.
