Wheeeee~
Argh argh argh.
So, that article I’ve been editing for the past three weeks was due Monday. So on Sunday I decided that I would do whatever I could in the time remaining, then take the rest of the night off, booze up, and pass out. And so I did! After I sent it in I had a couple glasses of wine and started watching Diebuster (yay youtube). I got all nice and relaxed and, as intended, passed out (unfortunately it was at the computer, and I woke up a couple hours later in excruciating pain because the top of my computer desk is so damn high).
And then yesterday I find out that they want the second article finished by Thanksgiving.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!
To make matters worse, this week is the last week of my oral advocacy class, so I’ve got to focus on my speeches too. Fortunately I have finally broken through my wall, and though I’m still scared when I get up there, I can finally bully through it. I’ve gotten nothing but positive comments on my last couple of speeches, I’m so proud :D Friday’s speech is going to be the longest we’ve done and on a complicated topic, though, so I’m still a little worried.
See, the best thing about all of this, is that Thanksgiving signals the start of the finals prep period, so once I’m done with the second article I dive straight into that.
This is not the semester I was advertised! Third year is supposed to be fun :P
