1. Why do you dislike #11 so much? (House/Cameron)
She is so completely the wrong woman for him in every way. I mean, yes, she's beautiful, but she's not nearly enough of a challenge for him.
2. Who is someone you know that ships #13? (Peter/Niki)
No one that I actually know (to my knowledge), but I haven't read a lot of posts from friends of mine that I know are into the show (due to being so late to the obsession).
3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? (Veronica/Logan)
Um, a fourth season of Veronica Mars? :P I've heard talk of a movie, but who knows? I'd love to see them together, but Logan has a LOT of growing up to do first. Whatever it is, it needs to NOT involve him coming to her rescue yet again.
4. Which is your favorite episode for #1? Try to pick just one. (Harry/Ginny)
The description of his being with her as "something that was making him happier than he could remember being for a very long time." My heart still melts thinking about how sublimely happy he was for those four weeks.
5. How long have you been following couple #6? (House/Cuddy)
Since I realized that Stacy was only a temporary addition to the show. ;) And especially since Cuddy's little cat fight with Stacy ("and though his cane makes me melt...")
6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop liking them/caring? (Albus/Minerva)
Not much of a story. Jo's reaction to someone asking about it made it seem very silly. And, yanno, Albus being dead and all. :P
7. Which ship do you prefer - #2 (Mal/Inara) or #4? (David/Jessica)
Hmm. I guess Mal/Inara. There was just so much more to explore with them. David and Jessica had an interesting socioeconomic contrast, but it was fairly traditional romantic conflict fare. Mal and Inara had a huge obstacle with Inara's profession making her a citizen of standing and the fact that she would have to give that up to be with one man. WHY did there have to be only fourteen episodes?!?!
8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 (Harry/Hermione) or #12 (Pacey/Joey).
Well, I guess Pacey/Joey is the only one I'd need that power for. :P
9. What interests you about #14? (Jim/Pam)
Ah well, everyone else has probably said it already. They're just so cute and funny and soulmatey. And MAN, that kiss!
10. When did you stop liking #7? (Dawson/Joey)
I don't know that I stopped liking it, really. I just hated that the writers didn't know how to write a relationship between them, as evidenced by the constant obstacles thrown between them that only seemed to come in the form of rivals. I wish they had explored the realities, the getting over illusions about each other. Just because someone is your soulmate doesn't mean there aren't going to be problems to overcome. I had such high hopes for that at the end of the second season, but pfffft. Nothin'.
11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the show? (Peter/Claire)
Not at all. I watched Season One over the space of a few days, and didn't really have time to think much about them besides "that would be kind of cute." But they're both too darned sincere and emotional, much as I love them both. And he's too old for her (at the moment). And also, he's [EDITED FOR SPOILERS].
12. What's a song that reminds you of #5? (Kim/Ron)
Um, "call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me"?
13. Which of these ships do you love the most?
Harry/Ginny. No contest.
14. Which do you dislike the most?
Gosh, 10-12 are all winners here. I suppose a lot of my hatred for Harry/Hermione is due to participation in the fandom (though not all, because I distinctly remember seeing the "you're a great wizard" thing in the PS movie and thinking "ewwww, I hope they don't get together"). Pacey/Joey broke my heart and felt VERY pasted on in the beginning - I could literally feel the writers in a room somewhere trying to pull some conflict out of their asses. And I'm pretty certain that I'd have to stop watching House if he started seeing Cameron.
15. If you could have any of these two pairings double date, who would it be? (even better if they're from different shows)
Hehe, I'd love to be a fly on the wall of a double date with House/Cuddy and Veronica/Logan. Oh, how the sparks would fly!
16. Have #2 kissed yet? Elaborate if you'd like. (Mal/Inara)
Once, but it doesn't really count. :P Mal had been drugged by his "wife," with a poison that she passed to him by kissing him. Inara saw him passed out on the floor, rushed over and kissed him ("Oh noes! He's dead! Well, at least I can kiss him and he'll never know I love him.") and got the poison on her lips. Which made for some interesting explanations about why she passed out too. :P
17. Did #4 have a happy ending? If the show hasn't ended yet, do you think a happy ending is likely? (David/Jessica)
Eh, I guess. The show got cancelled just after they left for summer vacation, but the series finale featured a pretty steamy love scene.
18. What would make you start shipping #14? (Jim/Pam)
I kind of already do.
19. If only one could happen, which would you prefer - #2 (Mal/Inara) or #6 (House/Cuddy)?
Well, only one of them can happen, since #2's show got axed. I guess if I *had* to choose, I'd go with Mal/Inara.
