Bruno Kirby passed away Monday from leukemia-related complications. He was 57. Kirby played several memorable roles - Lt. Hauk in Good Morning, Vietnam, the wagon-wheel-table-owning Jess in When Harry Met Sally, and Ed from City Slickers among them ( Read more... )

I cried when I heard the news. When Harry Met Sally is one of my all time favorite films, and not the least because he was so adorable in it. (Baby fish-mouth! Baby fish-mouth!) He was too young to go.

Oh, that's sad--he was so young. :( Obviously, I remember him from Good Morning, Vietnam, but I think I've seen him in other things, too. *goes to look at filmography*

When Harry Met Sally... is one of my favorite movies, too, and it made me so sad to read about Bruno Kirby's passing. And I loved him in City Slickers. This is just so unfair.
