Weekend update

Okay, this entry is really just an excuse to revel in my "current music" - oh, how I love that song.

I had a good Labor Day weekend. Fairly uneventful, except for the triple feature of flicks on Friday. I was determined to drive as little as possible, so I ended up staying at home, reading a bit, cleaning a lot, and sleeping even more. Also, I saw Romero's Dawn of the Dead for the first time in my life. It was a lot more gory than I expected it to be. Or perhaps that's just because it was in color. But I died laughing when the last guy was escaping from the mall and the peppy SuperHero theme kicked in after two hours of creepy 70s horror music.

And I finally finished my second reading of HBP. Yep, I still love it. Also, I took a look at my 2005 book list and, while I'm way behind where I intended to be, I've read as much at 2/3 of the way through 2005 as I did in all of 2004. So, I'm fairly pleased.

Currently reading: The Gabriel Hounds - Mary Stewart
