Life's Little Excitements
My life has been pretty standard lately... except for finding "The Pirate Movie" and "Orgazmo" on dvd in my local stores... I am besides myself with sheer joy for now owning these two videos on dvd for my very own. also sucked it up and bought Firefly on dvd so now i have the whole series and can watch all the comentary... mmmm comentary...
If, for some unspeakable reason, you have managed to NEVER have seen these movies... shame on you. see them now.. they are among the most beautiful movies/ shows you'll ever see... I realize that some of you are crying out over my calling the Pirate movie a good movie.. if you love camp- you'll love this movie.. it's great.. in a 1980's way. and now it's on dvd... fabulous!!!
Orgazmo is probably not for those in a younger crowd... it's story line is about a Mormon who needs money and takes a job as a superhero porn star- there is no nudity just lots of language and implied situations... and plastic dildoes everywhere... But it's got the cast from Canibal in it and they do a bang up job... If you like SOuth Park or Cannibal- rent this, rent this now... even if only for Matt Stone saying "I don't want to sound gay or nothing.. but i'd really like to make sweet sweet love to you tonight" to Trey Parker... It's other cast members include Ron Jeremy, Lloyd Kauffman, and a few major porn stars.. heavy theme of sex in this one, but incredibly funny... songs like "Jesus and I love you" and "Twisted Steel, Leather Donut." just good stuff
Firefly just freakin' rocks.. see it then go see Serenity and support this... i want to know why Book, Inara, et al. are the way they are... but its' good...
