(no subject)
Life is good. I have all but finished the mill project and can get my life back from that never ending funness of planning and arranging, and will hopefully be doing most of the shows this year with them. School countdown has started, refund check in a week 1/2 which will make my life so much easier. For the first time in like a month there was actually enough water pressure here to take a shower :) (we've been having problems with our pump) And my friend Vanessa is now engaged!! woot!!! that makes 5 of us who are all getting married this year/next... the weddings start this September with Amanda and Jake's and I have a wedding every two months just about from then on. :) it's crazy!!!
I'm starting work on Pippin designs which will take me awhile since there is a ton of stuff going on in the show and the characters keep changing around to fill the roles. But the director wants it to be a modern-day interpretation except for Pippin and the people closest to him- like Fastrada, Lewis, and Charlemagne- who will all be like cartoony versions of Byzantine garb. it's quite a project and i'm super looking forward to it.. I even get to design armor.. although i'm finding alot that isn't "actor approved"... no offence to you actor/dancer types but it's wicked hard to dress you sometimes... the weight of the clothing alone will cause most of them to cringe and hide in fear.. oh well.. ok.. so that's my update for now i'm off to research Vegas Showgirls :)
