Some music that make me feel indescribable:

1. Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve
2. Common People - Pulp
3. Playground Love (Virgin Suicides Version) - Air
4. Zero 7 - Yeah, pretty much all they do
5. With or Without You - U2
6. Everything will be All Right - The Killers
7. Soundtrack to Koyaanisqatsi - Philip Glass

So, because my brain has been rotting (as have my other muscles), I have decided based partly upon marty's insistence to try to learn a little bit of ezpublish each day. So far, the only real part I understand deals with setting up the content of the site - involving trees, nodes, hidden nodes, visible/invisible nodes, etc. It is interesting b/c a lot of this is very similar to connectionism (yes, my namesake)- a series of interconnected nodes that learn according to an algorithm, and their weights changes based upon past associations. Of course, ez publish uses a very simple 1/0 algorithm to indicate if something is hidden/invisible, etc. And there is certainly no learning that occurs. . .but I think the similarities are neat. Of course, connectionism is just an application of neural networks, but i find it so interesting that the computer continues to be a metaphor for the human brain. Do search engines operate on a neural network basis? Do the strenghts of the connections between various sites change based upon popularity? Or is this completely off?

In other news, E = mc squared may be flawed?!? The speed of light may not be a constant. This is truly an intersting possibility.
