Funny.
After how often we hear cliche's, it's hard to believe when they're really true. And even though it's a lesson we've probably learned before, it never seems to stick.
I am just re-learning that in order to get better, you must be willing to get worse. You can't jump higher without risking falling down. But if you play it safe, that's just where you'll stay.
It's like Super Mario. You KNOW there's an extra 50 coins floating up there in the sky, but in order to get up there, you have to dodge an extra 5 turtles, a jumping fireball, and 3 more of those mushroom-looking guys. But when you get up there, collecting your gold, and you fall back down right at the end of the level, you know it was totally worth it.
