A conversation between one Derlan and Silken, both of the Fae

Feb 23, 2006 12:13

Derlan: What in the name of the unholy Gods did you want? You've been shouting down the sky. Did you lose all your subtly when your big pet went squish?

Silk: It's important.

D: So important that it couldn't wait for another couple hours? ~yawns~

S: Yes. You don't understand Derlan-

D: Though I'm sure that you're going to explain it to me until I'm very aware of just whatever the hell this is.

S: -continuing, ignoring the interuption- When you ceased to feed 'normally', and then purged the excess... it may have taken care of the problem, but it left you with a new problem.

D: ~yawning again~ Of course it did... ~unimpressed~

S: -slightly annoyed- I'm being completely serious Derlan. If you keep going as things are-

D: And doubtless I will because I just love being predictable.

S: You're going to drain the ones that are left until there is nothing left of them!

D: ~pretending to consider it... and then a sickly sweet smile~ Yes.

S: -shock- What?

D: ~dark laughter~ What did you expect me to say? 'Oh my goodness, me! I had better bleed them all out too so that I am left powerless and in my original form so that I don't inconvenience the people that I already hunted and killed!'" He snorted. "Please..."

S: You are not seriously contemplating completely destroying their life force...

D: ~coldly serious~ And if I am? It is no business of yours Silken.

S: You are destroying people, not just killing them!

D: Oh, I am very well aware of what exactly I'm doing. ~voice getting colder~ Perhaps you should mind your own business... less I am tempted to allow you to join them.

S: You don't-

D: I do, regardless of what you have fooled yourself into believing, I always know what I am doing. And I have little care for what you, or any other of the Fae think about it.

S: What about Set, how does he feel about this?

D: He isn't any business of yours. ~snarl~

S: So you haven't-

D: Shut up now before I do what you were begging me to do before. What we talk about is no business of yours, nor am I. You made that choice long ago. If you say one more word on this subject you will find out just why they cast me out of your precious lands, close up and very, very personal.

S: -stunned-

D: ~departs to home~
