Aaaaaah, why did the warm weather have to go away?! Seriously, it was SO nice! Anyways, thought I’d get a random journal entry in before I have to start the new week off running. So in true Eric fashion… I give you a list WITH numbers! lol.
1. I kinda want to take up fishing. Fly fishing would be even more of a bonus. Though I might just have this urge because it can be a peaceful activity and things are so hectic right now. I’d prolly get bored and move on to something else… (like I ever do that!)
2. Last weekend in cinci was really a lot of fun. Really makes me want to be in an area with a lot of churchies around. I mean how cool is it to be able to walk over to other’s places?! So ya… I’m starting my church colony in florida. Come!
3. Last semester of college is soooo crazy! It’s excitement, fear, stress, uncertainty, and pure craziness all wrapped together. Just so much going on and about to change… but you have no real time to think about it. Really have to try and sit back once in awhile and think about the fun of the ride.
4. I really don’t like the “so how is the job search going” question or others like it. It’s kinda stupid… and I know people ask questions like that just because they care… but I just don’t like em. Like even now I got some interviews and stuff coming up, but I don’t like to get into any specifics with people. Once something really comes together, I’ll be more than happy to let people know. Ahaha, it’s sad, but the closest analogy I can think of is like how a lot of pregnant women don’t like to tell anyone they are pregnant till after the 1st trimester (because that’s when the most risk is). It’s just not cool to tell people something and then have it not work out.
5. Something that is on my mind pretty often is simply how bad I am at keeping up with old friends. I’ve been blessed to have had some really amazing friends in my life… and I neglect them all so badly. Friendships take effort (just like any relationship) and all too often I find myself not taking the time or steps. Just another battle I need to do some more fighting in.
