ABB & Serenity
Yesterday was so much fun, first met up with ayodele (where we came to the embarrassing conclusion that I'm an idiot cause I didn't know I knew her offline already) and angryblackbitch, (if you don't know you better ask somebody) who is visiting from St. Louis for drinks. Consumed a copious amount of alcohol and had a riproaring time. Also I will be rooming with ayodele during bascon but everyone who emailed and replied I really appreciate it.
Then headed over to the LOEWS METREON for the midnight Serenity showing where everyone was dressed up and huge fan people like myself. There was bonding in line and cursing about whoever organized this event. Then I saw ladyjax briefly and fell down a couple stairs in front of her cause of all the alcohol. Movie ended went to my friends' house where I was crashing and got four hours sleep and hear I am at work.
So yeah I've seen Serenity twice in the last 72 hours and plan to see it again this weekend. FUN FUN FUN! Also rumor at the premiere was that if the movie did well there was supposed to be two more television series and three more movies. I really hope that's true!
Also apparently some people in the city are putting on a live version of the Buffy musical episode "Once More With Feeling" go here for info: http://www.counterpulse.org/calendar.shtml . If anyone is interested in attending with me, and I will definitely be attending, just let me know.
