News Sites

I realized on my way to work today that I have no news source that I check regularly. In fact I don't watch or read the news at all in my everyday life. I've never been much of a newshound and generally I rely on some of the people on LJ (and various blogs like Feministe, La Chola, The Angry Black Woman and others) to keep me up to date on things I should know. It's occurred to me that maybe I should have a news website that I frequent, y'know for actual news of the world and not just the news they want you to know.
So I put it to you my flist.
What news sites do you go to that inform you and align with your politics?
What site for news of People of Color in America and Internationally?
What site for news with a focus on women slant  in America and Internationally?
What site for queer news in America and Internationally?
And most of all what sites that include all of these perspectives and intersections, that deal with Queer Women of Color in all their permutations?
