"Every Long lost dream
lead me to where you are
others who broke my heart
they were like northern stars
holding me on my way, into your loving arms
this much I know is true
that God Bless the Broken Road that lead me straight to you..."
I had a conversation with one lady about a month ago. She shared about her ex-boyfriend who got married to another girl a week before she was supposed to marry him. Which was the exact date they were supposed to get married, on her birthday. Inviations were disseminated and things have been prepared. I asked how she took it and how she explained it to her current husband. She said to him "you should be bestfriends with him because if I had married him, I wouldn't have married you." The song above reminds me of this. Sometimes, especially when you see a couple that seems so loving or have been dating since highschool, you would think they'd get married. But shit happens, and these broken relationships make you strong, but most importantly lead you closer to the person you are destined to be with for the rest of your life.
And yes, that song is a country song :) I've been seriously in tuned with CMT :) loves it!
Had another haircut today. My sister-in-law highlighted her hair and decided to treat me too. It's really extreme, short! Rey-san likes it, something much cleaner, and fun at the same time. I find it really short and I look like a tomboy! ACK! During the first hour I was super cold because there's no hair covering my nape. It was to the point of having a headache. I took some pics, however I should post it some other time when I get a better pic of it.
Rey-san's been spoiling me lately. Not sure if that's good or bad. I asked "are you cheating on me?" hahaha...
Read the newspaper today. I found out Mr. Wittmayer just died. He was my professor for Communications. Although I found him to be boring at times and monotone, to hear such news is always sad. May he rest in peace.
Had dinner with Rey-san at Sakura Noodle House. We give it a 6/10. I actually was looking forward to a bento box or some sort of tempura, but they didn't have. And we weren't impressed. After, it gave me a bad tummy ache, we had to make a stop at one of the hotels to release :/ hehehe...
Yay! got fresh flowers again from willy. we visited him at the flower shop tonight and he gave me and rey-san (for his mama) roses and carnations. totally appreciated it.
Yesterday, Koko left for the pilgrimage. In three hours, jessica and the rest of the gang will be leaving. I AM SO ENVIOUS! but what can I do? It wasn't meant to be...
*yawns* night night....
