School's kicking ass, dude!
Had a role play today in family violence class. man was it emotional. Social work is a tough field to get into, and I'm realizing it more and more as I get deeper within my courses. We did the blanket cover activity where the blankets are added from the time the victim is a child and up until he/she has a relationship with man. Then towards the end, one by one the blankets are removed by people who care. The last person to take the last layer out was the sister. Gosh, the class was in tears!! *sighs* My classmate couldn't even read the paper anymore because she lost her composure. Ai adai... Family Violence, it really does happen folks! And I'm glad I'm being educated about it.
Bought a green cardigan today. Green's my next best color :)
