It's not that I don't care
It's just that I don't want to participate in the frenzy.
For me, it is odd. I had a different experience. I was in another country when it happened, I'm in another country now. And while to some extent it's about all of us, it's about some more than others, and I wasn't there, or even nearby.
Eventually telling stories about terrible things, while cathartic, is also exhausting.
And I'm happy not to be around during the circus, and I'm not even turning on my TV here today, or tomorrow.
Suffice it to say that I acknowledge that it affected all of us and will continue to do so.
