DOUBLE POST COZ IT'S DOUBLE TRIP xD

Jul 24, 2012 21:02

This is supposed to be an introductory post. And I don't mean to show off or make anyone jealous. This is just a recount of a trip. :)

I know I know I shouldn't have been such a blabbermouth about this, but for the sake of updating the blog, I gotta admit that I've been to Singapore not only once, but twice during this extended holiday. That also comes with double visit to Universal Studios Singapore (USS) (don't complain about the ticket. I know it's pricey, but it's totally worth it compared to Dufan). I think right now I can remember pretty clearly almost all the rides and shows there (please forgive my joke). I feel like so rich. Except that all the trips are (of course) funded by the courtesy of my family, haha. Thanks to my mom, my grandma, and my aunty. In the end, I'm really grateful for both opportunities. xD

As I mentioned before in my previous post, I haven't been to SG for a quite long time. It doesn't mean that I went there twice to do some kind of "revenge", but plainly because the situation/condition permitted (and forced) me to do so. The first time I went there (20-24 June) was with my mom and my sister. The second (18-21 July) was with my aunty and my cousin. I can't choose which one is more fun, because both trips has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Therefore, I think it won't be fair to write them all in one single post coz it will end up tremendously long and totally boring, so I think I'll write them in two different posts. Or more, if I thought the entry was getting too bulky. Although probably I can shorten it up, because going to SG is kinda different compared to my previous trips to Japan and South Korea, which I was in a hypnotized state for a while. I mean, you know how small SG is, right? And you know the ONLY prominent thing (esp. for ladies) we do when we travel there is, guess what, SHOPPING (now don't try to deny it). Shopping malls are like mushrooms there, you can always find one at every corner of the country or at the nearest MRT station. No kidding. The stuffs we hunt might be different (like me, I'm more fond of music CD compared to clothes), but the goal is still the same, that is, shopping. SG is probably meant to exist to satisfy any consumptive manner we all have deep inside.

We better move on to the core of the trip... Please check out the next entry if you wanna read the full story. :)

P.S.: I'm soo happy coz finally I got two stuffs on my wishlist. One of them cost me a lot of fortune, so hopefully it is worth the price. *wink* xP

ETA: I think the full post of my trip will be postponed for an indefinite amount of time... coz I'm still too lazy *sorry* >_<'
