In my last post I said I had been totally sober for 50+ days. I'm going to have to retract that statement. My sponsor and I decided today that I am going to be changing my sobriety date. See, while looking for my cell phone on the 27th, I found an old dope straw in my backpack and before I even considered the fact that I was in recovery, I snipped it open and tasted the leftover powder. Despite my knowing that it wasn't enough to give me even the slightest high orally, I still deliberately chopped the shit open and after I tasted it, I was pissed that I hadn't rigged it up and shot it because it might have been enough to get me high if done intravenously. Sooooo, that's pretty fucking sick.

However, the statement about my raging hormones still stands, albeit at a bit of an angle.
